Junghee Rebecca Sohn
Community Nutrition Educator
Junghee Sohn is a Community Health Educator for CalFresh Healthy Living, UCCE Alameda County. With a background in community health and a strong commitment to public service, Junghee brings over three years of experience in the non-profit and public sectors.
Junghee holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She previously served as a Youth Coordinator at (CIRI) the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants, and as an Administrative Assistant at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
Her passion for building stronger, healthier communities is reflected in her work supporting community-based initiatives, and empowering individuals with tools to live healthier, more informed lives.
Outside of work, Junghee enjoys connecting with others, growing plants in the garden, watching action movies, and singing karaoke with friends.
